Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka born in Minsk (the capital of Belarus) She was the son of Sergey. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her hockey-playing father. Aryna Sabalenka was born 5 May 1998 in Minsk Belarus. In her career she has had 12 WTA singles titles including a Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is her forte, and she won Majors at the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), both of which were in partnership with Elisemertens. Alongside her fellow Belgian tennis star, she also took home the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells as well as Miami in the year 2019, making her the Sunshine Double. Only four women's doubles couples achieve this feat. It was only four couples who achieved this feat in women's doubles. She rose up to the top of the doubles rankings in the year following, having triumphing at Melbourne. This made her the only Belarusian tennis player to succeed in her field. Her coach was an ex- Russian tennis player Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the close of the 2019 season, and in part at the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann worked with her for short periods between August 2020 and September. Antonio Dubrov is her coach, and has been since at the beginning of 2020. Her heroes are Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
